  • Dr. Deborah Rinehart, DACM, L.A.-c. is a board-certified and licensed acupuncturist offering both aesthetic and traditional acupuncture in Wexford, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

  • Hello!

    My journey to becoming an acupuncturist is personal. It started after I experienced a knee injury and sought treatment through acupuncture. I discovered that not only did it help with the knee injury, but also alleviated other issues, such as anxiety and stress. This personal experience fuels my passion for helping others with this time-honored medicine. Today, I utilize acupuncture to prevent disease and promote healthy aging. My self-care incudes meditation, yoga, and good nutrition.

By providing patient-centered care, I guide you through the healing process, empowering you to take charge of your own healing journey.

  • Education

    Dr. Rinehart holds a Diplomate in Chinese Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a Pennsylvania license, and is nationally board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Chinese Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL, and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. She is a member of the Association of Acupuncture in Pennsylvania (APAPENN) and has extensive continuing education in cosmetic and aestheitc acupuncture.

    Before her acupuncture career, Dr. Rinehart was a registered nurse who, for 23 years, served her patients in the specialty areas of critical care, transplant, and pediatrics. Her experience in these areas has given her a deep understanding of the human body and its various health conditions, which she now applies in her acupuncture practice.

She not only helped me with my issue, but was able to address other internal issues I was having...sleeping, digestion, and hormonal. I also did cosmetic acupuncture and I loved it!
